The Gathering
In the dark medieval realm of Grimwoods....
Gather together, oh free folk of the woods and their friends alike, and join us at the abandoned stronghold in Arid Commons for a merriment and feast of the Yuletide Gathering! Let us cheer with brews, music, bonfires, and age-old traditions before the incoming winter. Children will frolic in whimsical games while others meet old friends and new such as traveling nomads, rangers, hermits, woodland folk, witches, mages, forest covens, traveling warriors, and even the occasional paladin and cleric, who come together for this celebration...
But until you reach the outpost, some of you may have to clear the area to deem it safe for celebrations the following night...
There is a price to live open in the green world of the commonland, there may not be much taxes but there are no kingdom walls to save you, military support or nobles to protect you. You may encounter wayward thieves, strange beings and dangerous scenarios using only your wits, your bravery and your community to keep you safe.
Among the sands and trees are ancient hidden mysteries that might be discovered and after celebrations are over, a new chapter might begin....
